// Greetings from the mighty Thompson River

Sersa Total Track’s Plasser-Theurer RM80 Undercutter has begun its work season for the Canadian National Railway on the Ashcroft Subdivision in beautiful British Columbia, heading toward the Rocky Mountains.

The first cycle is complete, and the productivity has been at near record levels. Arthur VanDodewaard is leading the ballast cleaning forces, and will continue to do so throughout the very busy program.

STT’s Operations team, Marko Pohlmann and Jeff Burrows, were on site during the first week for a “meet and greet,” as well as to discuss the program with CN’s Engineering executives. They received very positive feedback regarding the performance of the Sersa Total Track group and equipment, and are currently developing a 3 year undercutting plan with CN.
