Steve Sweeney, associate editor, at Trains Magazine recently visited one of Rhomberg Sersa’s construction sites in Switzerland.

The March 2019 Trains Magazine reflects the challenges of track renewal in a tunnel during short track possessions on of one of the busiest railway lines through the Alps.

Work progresses on the Rhaetian Railway lines 150 to 200 feet at a time, nightly without having to stop train operations.
